I love the small details like passing around drinking water prior to each dive, etc. That’s what makes Ombak Biru different from other liveaboards I’ve been on. I’ll spread the words. This trip to Alor area was now my third time on the Komodo Dancer. As always, service was excellent, the meals were delicious, and the diving was superb! Thanks to the wonderful crew of the Komodo Dancer! Always pleasant and most efficient – and good food. I have a whole new appreciation for the word “manageable”. The diving was great. Zillions of frogfish, leaf fish, stone fish, ribbon eels, spotted eagle ray, bat fish, seahorses, crabs, shrimp, more and more sealife than I can cope… oh yeah… Hammerhead shark, marlin, bumphead… it goes on and on. Wow! Thank you for the delicious meals, the laughter, the camaraderie, the great and personal service, the coffee delivered to my room. This was a trip i will never forget. Michael, thank you for your energy throughout the whole trip, the second that we have experienced with you and hopefully there will be a third. Your crew are amazing, polite, attentive and excellent. The whole concept of Alor is mindblowing, to experience such an unspoilt coral paradise is unique. The Alor definately is and the last place on earth to keep secret. This has been a truly amazing trip. Michael’s energy and excitement was so contagious and his knowledge of underwater critters and photography were very helpful. Komang and Gede, the divemasters made every single dive so enjoyable. And trisno, the chief steward absolutely pampered us all. Alor is a wonderful dive destination and i would highly recommend it to fellow divers. I learned so much about micro life and had such a great time, the volcano was once a lifetime experience and the village visits were a wonderful chance to meet the locals. First let me say the crew and the ship was great. Thedivemasters were extremely competent and had an incredible ability to find creatures.
